Hayley's a Senior: Loudoun County Senior Photographer, Northern Virginia Senior Photos

I have a confession to make. My most favorite sessions of all time are high school seniors. Why? They are the most adventurous bunch of clients. They are so willing to try new poses and crazy ideas I might have. I really enjoy spending time with young people with their varied personalities and fashion sense. This young lady was so enjoyable to spend time with. She came to me by way of referral thanks to my awesome senior reps, but I have known her since she was 11 turning 12. She has turned out to be such a thoughtful and sweet person. Not to mention she has such keen fashion sense. Professional hair and makeup artist, Randa McBride, did her hair and we both LOVED it. Thanks Hayley for the good time!

Another note, I have a big announcement coming to the blog soon and I am super excited about it. It has something to do with better photos for both you and me and I can't wait to share it with you. Stay tuned!

So this is Christmas: Northern Virginia Family Photographer

Down the rode from my new country home is this really fun old cider mill. The owner's happen to belong to our church. Every evening the beautiful glow shining through the old cider mill is perfect. This is the first of many sessions that will happen at the mill. I have already done some awesome senior photos there and will blog those soon. In the mean time, Christmas is around the corner and if you are interested in one of a kind gifts that are sure to please everyone, I've got some ideas. These are the photos that will grace my Christmas cards this year. I am busy making some Christmas and Hanukkah cards and will post those soon too and they will be available to my clients.

I frequently receive e-mails from other photographers about my editing. How you edit really can change your final product and I thought it might be fun for my clients to see the transition of the photos from the camera to their final edit. Things on the blog have slowed down temporarily because... we have finally moved to our new home. I am still digging out from boxes of books and suitcases but I am nearly there. Paintings are hung, the hooks are up in the mudroom, and the kids are on the school bus. I couldn't be happier with our neighbors. Everyone out in the country is so friendly and everyone I have spoken to is so willing to let me use their barns and vineyards for photography. I thought I would share a few pics of my new surroundings. I truly am blessed to live in Loudoun County.
