I can hardly stand how cute these two are! They are so fun to spend time with and when I am with them, I realize how sincere their love is. We had so much fun with this engagement shoot. We went to numerous spots all over this historic town which I love. I am beyond thrilled that I get to photograph their wedding this summer.
In a matter of a couple weeks, the last remains of winter have left and the leaves of spring have started to bloom. I love this time of rebirth and especially with the celebration of Easter, renewal and resurrection are on my mind. I love springtime and kids love it too, so what better way to celebrate than a photo session at the local greenhouse. Happy Spring!
Sometimes it's fun to play around with the edit and antique things a little bit.
This cutie pie was in need of a modeling portfolio and clearly you can see why. She has the most captivating eyes and is so natural and easy to work with in front of the camera. One day I will look back when she is famous and say: "I shot her first portfolio."

The Washington D.C. Cherry Blossom Festival is a major event drawing tourists from all over the globe. It also happens to be a popular time for photography of all kinds from engagement photography, wedding photography, family photography, and nature photography. It's no small feat to trek downtown and navigate through the crowds to find the perfect cherry blossom tree as your backdrop. Fortunately I was able to find some perfect spots for this family photo shoot. This family came all the way from Chapel Hill, North Carolina to get their photos done. I felt so honored they chose me to be their photographer. What a lovely and sweet family this is. Thanks for spending time with me among the blossoms of D.C.
I have a confession, this was my first time photographing multiples. I was very excited to do it but also a little curious as to how I would direct the shoot. I have seen beautiful twin photography and newborn photography by various artists and have been in awe of their work and wondered if I could ever measure up. In the end, I am in love with these photos. I love the newness of the babies and am truly in awe of their parents and the fortitude they must have to simply keep on with life when there are not one, but two little babies that need you constantly. God bless all parents of multiples.
